Paléo Festival Nyon reveals

Paléo Festival Nyon reveals the poster of his 44th edition. An energetic, pop and modern visual universe which places the sound and the color at the heart of the poster.

Perrine Morel and Simon Muñoz are two students in 3rd year of Bachelor in visual communication. They present us their work today, a visual universe in the resolutely pop esthetics and in the frank colors.

Directly inspired by the diverse sound sources of Paléo, this project presents a graphic retranscription of the sound in all its forms. “The idea to represent the sound universe of the Festival appeared to us as an obvious fact.We had been both called out by the sounds which got free of the Festival: the noises of guitars and batteries, the “yeah” of the festival-goers, ” hello, are you where? “, the “clapperboards” of the applauses, the “splashes” of boots in the mud.To put these sounds in image, we wished to use playful, direct graphic elements and parlants. Onomatopoeias and phylacteries which we find in the universe of comics spontaneously inspired us. “.
